Greg Rhodes, a firm partner, has practiced law in the South Puget Sound region since joining the firm in 2003. Greg focuses his practice on employment law and litigation, estate and trust advisement including litigation of complex probate and estate matters, personal injury, real property issues, and helping clients with administrative appeals through various state agencies. Greg represents both individuals and businesses through litigation in state and federal court, although he most enjoys helping clients avoid litigation altogether.

Greg has successfully litigated employment cases involving issues of sexual harassment, discrimination, civil rights, wrongful termination, unpaid wages, wage and hour violations, disability and accommodation rights, employment benefits and FMLA/leave issues. He also handles negligence and defamation of character matters.

In 2009, Greg helped his clients obtain a substantial jury verdict in a groundbreaking defamation case which received national media attention and impacted Vietnamese-American immigrants throughout the United States. This case was upheld by the Washington State Supreme Court in 2013 and represents a significant contribution to our state’s legal precedent – Link to Case Information.  For his efforts in this matter, Greg was honored with an award from the Vietnamese Community of Thurston County for the outstanding pursuit of truth and justice.

Greg is dedicated to the honor of the profession and the oath sworn to be admitted to the bar association, which commands that attorneys comport themselves professionally and with respect for clients and opposing counsel always. He understands that a successful legal outcome is different for every client and will patiently and honestly work with every client to obtain the outcome best for them.

Greg is actively involved in the local bar association and local nonprofit community organizations. A Northwest native, you will often find him on, in or near one of the rivers in our state.
