Lisa is a lifelong Washington resident, born and raised in the Gig Harbor area. Lisa first moved to Olympia to attend Saint Martin’s University for her undergraduate degree and has resided in the Thurston County area ever since. As a Mexican-American female, Lisa is fluent in both Spanish and English and enjoys using those abilities in both life and the practice of law.

 

Lisa earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law, and her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Saint Martin’s University, where Lisa was also a four-year member of the Women’s Varsity Golf Team. During law school, Lisa served as a member of the Washington International Law Journal and competed in moot court competitions, finishing as a Finalist in her first year. During law school, Lisa also worked with the Tulalip Tribal Court and helped individuals with limited means obtain legal advocacy when faced with criminal charges. Prior to joining Younglove Coker & Rhodes, Lisa practiced law in areas of Estate Planning, Probate, Real Property, and civil disputes in the Thurston County area.

Lisa is a board member for the Capitol Chapter of Washington Women’s Lawyers and lives in Olympia with her husband. In her free time, Lisa enjoys playing golf, reading good books, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
